We pray this message finds you well. We are writing to share with you our commitment to providing uninterrupted service and support, while also wisely managing the health and safety concerns we share for all.
As a service business, and especially at this time of uncertainty and need, we will continue to be available to serve our clients and prospective clients. We are grateful that none of our employees are ill or are displaying symptoms of Coronavirus. Nevertheless, as an abundance of caution, all of us are working from home.
For our clients who are beneficiaries of “family trusts”, if you find yourself personally impacted by this crisis, please know that your trust may be able to assist. If there is a way, we will see to it that we can get it done on your behalf.
Regarding taxes, we understand the importance of our clients being able to file their personal tax returns as soon as possible, especially if such will result in a much-needed refund. Thus, although the tax filing deadline has been extended to July 15th, we nevertheless will continue to diligently work on all tax returns so that our clients can receive their K-1s as soon as practical.
With regard to the financial management of your trust account, although most all our clients work with their chosen financial advisor, as a matter of course, each trust portfolio has been appropriately diversified to best manage risk and growth. I can assure you that your financial advisor is extremely busy during this time, looking to continue to manage risk as best they can while also being positioned for a market turn-around which, as history has shown, will come, and as events unfold can come quickly.
We are continuing to schedule and conduct meetings, whether in-person (if allowed) or “virtually” face to face by way of our Zoom Meeting capabilities .
We can continue to be reached via email, or by calling our main office line at (719) 358-8478.
Cindy Moritz will help schedule, or re-schedule, any meetings which you may desire. You can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In summary, our team remains here to serve you and your family through this difficult time. We are honored to partner in this together with you.
Steve Marken, J.D.
